The Park Tennis Project

We are proud to be involved with, via our main contractors, the Park Tennis Project which is a nationwide investment by the UK Government and LTA Tennis Foundation, delivered by the LTA, to refurbish public tennis courts and open the sport to more people.

This investment will bring thousands of existing park tennis courts in poor or unplayable condition back to life for the benefit of communities across the country.

1000 public tennis courts have already been completed across Britain and are easy to identify by their colours, Light Blue for the outer court and Grass Green for the inner court.

Celebration Day at Dove Street Flats in Bristol

The ceremonial opening of Dove Street flats community garden project took place on 27th October 2022.

Keen to change the negative image of the area a group of residents secured funding from Bristol City Council to improve the community’s outdoor spaces.

We are proud to have been part of such a worthwhile and successful community project and were tasked with painting the colourful playground markings across the terrace and the basketball and football court beneath Dove Street tower.

“Thanks very much for your work, the markings and courts have been the most impactful element of the project, and it was a pleasure working with you and the guys on-site, who really took an interest and did great work for us.”

Feedback from Joanna Price at Bristol City Council.

A first for us – Pickleball at the Jubilee Centre, Bradley Stoke

We have over 46 years colour coating and line marking experience yet we have just completed our first Pickleball Court as part of the Multi Use Games Areas at the Jubilee Centre in Bradley Stoke, Bristol.

Pickleball is a fun paddle sport for all ages and abilities and is rapidly gaining popularity in the UK. The sport combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis and is played both indoors or outdoors. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, over a net.

If you are looking for some great exercise for your mind and body, Pickleball can’t be beat.

Below are our before and after photos:

Some wonderful photos of a multi use games area recently completed at Fleming Park Leisure Centre in Eastleigh.  The colour combination of dark and light blue for the inner and outer courts with white tennis lines and yellow netball lines is simply stunning.

End of colour coating season for 2016

Our colour coating season is over for another year due to the falling outside temperatures so, as we pack away our paint machines until Spring 2017, I thought I would post some sunny pictures of the courts at Trumpington Community College in Cambridge which we completed in July.

Center Parcs Woburn Forest due to open 6th June 2014

The new Center Parcs Woburn Forest in Bedfordshire will open to guests on Friday 6th June.

We were pleased to have been asked by our friends at Smith Construction to colour coat and line mark the four tennis courts all ready for the grand opening.  With Wimbledon season almost upon us it’s the perfect time for guests to dust off their tennis racquets and practice those ace serves!
